The personal data requested are subdivided into two categories: mandatory and optional, as seen in the subscription procedure and in the request for activation of services offered. The providing of the mandatory data and the related processing of these for the above indicated purposes are purely functional to the execution of the indicated services. In the case the User refuses to provide these mandatory data or refuses to allow them to be processed, then the User will not be allowed to use the services offered by Starring The other, optional data being gathered are used to help Starring to continue to improve the quality of the services they offer, so, in this respect, the user is free to provide these or not.

Starring reserves the right to submit the User's personal data to all forms of processing indicated in legislative decrees 196/2003 -- that is, collection, registration, organization, storage, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, and any other operation that will be useful for the development of the services requested, including communication to third parties, when necessary, using automated information processing methods. These data may be organized into databases or other sorts of archives.
In particular, the purposes foreseen for treatment of personal data are as follows:
- providing of the stated services;
- verification of quality of the services offered;
providing of all subsequent accounting and fiscal processing;
- And where the User has so authorized:
- providing of information and/or offers about produces, services, or initiatives offered or promoted by Starring and/or by its affiliated and/or controlled associates, as well as by commercial partners and outsourcers, although this does not imply any transmission of personal data to the subject third parties;

The User may access his/her own data at any time and further exercise his/her rights indicated in Article 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003. Starring informs the User that, in the senses of Article 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003:
The User has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence of, or lack thereof, any personal data related to himself/herself, even for cases where these have not yet been registered, and to receive them by communication in an intelligible form; The User has the right to obtain the indication:
a) of the origin of such personal data;
b) of the purposes and methods intended for treatment of the data;
c) of the logical applications intended for use in cases where treatment of the data will be performed by means of electronic instruments;
d) of the coordinates of identification of the owner, of the managers, and of the designated representative, in the senses of Article 5, Clause 2;
e) of the subjects or categories of subjects to whom the personal data may communicated or who may be made aware of these data in the capacity of designated representative for the territory of the State, of managers, or persons charged with related responsibilities.

The User has the right to exercise:
a) the updating, correction, or, if desired, integration of the data;
b) the cancellation, transformation into anonymous form, or the blocking of the data which are treated in violation of law, including those that are not necessary to safeguard in relation ot the purposes for which the data were gathered or successively processed;
c) the attestation that the operations mentioned in letters a) and b) have been effected, as well as regarding their contents, to those to whom the data have been communicated or transmitted, with the exception of cases where such compliance is impossible or requires the use of methods manifestly disproportionate to the rights being protected.

The User has the right to oppose, in whole or in part: a) to the processing of personal data regarding himself/herself, when substantiated by legitimate reasons, even when such pertains to the original purposes of the gathering of the data;
b) to the treatment of personal data regarding himself/ herself for purposes of transmission of publicitary material, or direct marketing, or for market research, or commercial communication. Further, the User shall at all times have direct access via Internet to his/her own data using his/her personal access code ("Username" and "Password"). In this manner, the User may integrate, modify, or cancel personal data, at any time, and without intermediation, autonomously, and within the context of his/her own responsibility. The User may use the same interface to manage the reception, periodicity, and content of the information provided by Starring. Personal data acquired by Starring may be communicated to all employees, co-workers, or consultants of our company, in whatever capacity, as well as to any member organisms. Furthermore, the same data may be communicated a) to companies controlled, connected, or affiliated with Starring (producers, providers, distributors, etc.) or companies who perform surveys regarding customer preferences, provided that these remain within the context of the purposes of treatment already indicated.
